FUN FUN FUN

OMG - We had so much fun on our trip! But I'm soooooo tired!!! Granted, we got home Tuesday and you'd think I've rested by now, but that is just not the case!
I still feel like I've been ran over my an 18-wheeler!
Oh well, it was well worth it!!!

The boy's came in 5th place in the tournament, which is not bad, but they could have done better!

I'm tired and going to bed right now and I will post more pics later. We had to go back out of town this weekend for a baseball meeting in Greenville, so I'm worn out!
But for now, I've uploaded some to my flickr...so take a look!

I will post more tomorrow.

The Weekend (That never last long enough)!!!

Well, my weekend has been a little hectic - as usual! Austin's soccer coach has been going full force and practicing the boys a lot this week to get prepared for the tournament in Orlando, so I have been going crazy trying to get him back and forth to the practices. Which has not been easy! His coach has moved to Starkville, so all of the practices are over there and that is about 25 minutes away from where I live. That really isn't a long way away, but it is when you have to work and practices are around 4-5pm. That can really mess a persons schedule up. But thankfully his last practice is tomorrow and then we are off to Orlando on Tuesday!!!! Please keep our team in your thoughts. We are really hoping to place in the Nationals! That would be so awesome for a team from good ole Mississippi to walk away with the National Title!!!!
Back to my weekend -
Friday night I left work and stopped by a friends house, which was very nice to see her and her hubby. It's been a while since I have been able to "stop" by anyone of MY friends house and enjoy their company without having to worry about rushing off. Then I left and went to pick up something to eat. I got home, ate, went to bed! ~This is very uncommon for me. I almost ALWAYS sit up until after 11pm, but not Friday night. I was T-I-R-E-D!
But I was back full force Saturday morning! I had to have Austin at soccer practice at 9:30am, so my Saturday morning sleep-in was out of the question. Then, after his practice, I drove him back to Columbus and we met with Todd to eat lunch together. I then left them two to go hunting and I headed back to Starkville to have a photo shoot with 4 of the soccer boys. We are trying to organize a media kit to send out to large companies to try to get a corporate sponsor for the soccer teams. Anyway - the shoot lasted until around 5pm. I'm almost through with the photos for the media kits. I only have 6 boys to go. We will get them when we get back from Florida.
I got home Sat. night and uploaded the pictures to my photo website (
www.printroom.com/pro/sharpeyephotos ) that took a while considering I had to go through over 400 photos that I took! I always go overboard when it comes to taking pictures. I guess I'm not quite as confident as I need to be when taking the pictures yet, so I overdo it just to make sure that I got enough "good ones" to suffice! I need to work on that.
~ Today - I got up slowly! I farted around the house until around 12, then took my shower and went to my in-laws house for the traditional Sunday dinner. I then left early to head to Wal-Mart to do some shopping for my Grandmother and to find me some luggage for our trip. I usually just use a duffel bag, but I usually am only away for weekends for tournaments. I wanted to find a roller suitcase for this trip. And I did. I found a roller suitcase with a wardrobe bag and another duffel bag for, get this, $10.00. Can't beat that! I love a bargain. And it doesn't seem cheap! Even if it only last a couple of trips, I think it was worth it. Now it's time for me to start my laundry and get to packing. I guess that's what I will be doing tomorrow night after practice!

Now here I am, ready for bed. I think I will go lay down for a while and watch a little TV. I will catch you guys later-

New Hair ColorS

That's right new hair COLORS.
I decided to get a little brave with myself for the new year and change my hair color. Well, I have tired of the usual highlights, so I decided this time to buy three different hair colors and put them in to see how I like it. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!
I bought Reddish Brown, Auburn, and Golden Blonde and persuaded my sister- in- law to do it for me. I just love her! She always does a good job on my hair. She is usually the one that cuts my hair, so I trust her fully.
I have had this done once in the past by a salon, but they didn't really use much color differences to where you could notice unless in the sun. And they used a bleach for one of the highlights, so that's really all you could notice.
This time I wanted more red to show and it worked like a charm. The Auburn has a very slight purplish tint to it, but not much. I knew that would happen, because anyone that I have ever known to color their own hair and use the Auburn has gotten a purple tint.
I think it looks great and Rachel noticed it as soon as she saw me today, and she told me that she liked it. Of course, she could have just told me that to make me feel better, so I will have more comments tomorrow when I go back to work. I will let you all know the outcome then.

{I would say to look at my pictures Rachel took of me today, but you can't really tell much about it from those. Well you might can in a couple of them.}

Photo Day...ugh!!!!!!!!!!! But Kudos to Rachel!

My friend Rachel is soon to buy a new camera so I told her that I would be her guinea pig and she could use my camera to get a feel for the larger cameras. I use a Nikon D70 and LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway - I HATE photos of myself. I am never satisfied with them because I think I'm too fat and well, just not a very pretty gal
!
{I have issues I know!}
But I must give KUDOS TO RACHEL. She did an excellent job! EVEN THOUGH THE WIND DECIDED TO BLOW 50 Mph. OH, and just as I figured, it was hotter than hell (like almost 80 freakin degrees in JAN!!), but I still wore my new Pea Coat with the scarf, hat and gloves in some of the pictures! But I knew Rachel would do a great job with me all along! Never a doubt! I told her what I didn't like about myself and she worked around that to hide my flaws. (Well, as best as she could considering her subject is a tad over-weight, self conscience, etc...)
~Note - I'm usually the one taking the pictures, so I have a hard time being the subject.~
But she picked my camera up and went right to it and didn't miss a beat.
***I could have hurt my son though!
He is usually very good at taking pictures, but he was being a real butthead today. He wouldn't smile right so I kicked him out and let her take pictures of just me.
I guess Austin is so used to being my guinea pig that he didn't know how to act with someone else taking his photos.
So thank you girlie for putting up with us and I hope you had a good time too!
- I love ya!

Here are a few of the pics from the shoot, so let me know what you think and click on my flickr to see more!
