PROBLEMS! PROBLEMS! PROBLEMS!

As you are all well aware, I have been home from vacation for quite some time now and I haven't blogged to tell you all about it! THERE IS A REASON FOR THAT! It's called my POS computer at home! It has been giving me fits ever since I got back from Orlando. It will freeze up at the drop of a dime and IT PISSES ME OFF!!!
I have been working on it, so hopefully it will be ok for a little while longer until I get my laptop.
...SOOOOO I haven't been slacking on my blog, just temporarily out of service.

My trip was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Austin and I had such a great time. So did my sister-in -law, Terri. She went with us since Todd couldn't make it.
I didn't think Austin would ride many of the rides considering that he is afraid of heights, but he really shocked me. He told Terri that he was going to face his fears!!! How funny is that coming from an 11 year old! Well he did it!!!

Magic Kingdom-
The very first ride we rode was Space Mountain. He was scarred, but he did it and was wired up after that. He was ready for it all! We rode everyting at Magic Kingdom twice except for Splash Mountain. We only rode that one once! I LOVED Mickey's Philhar Magic movie! In fact, I loved seeing all of the 3-D movies at all of the parks! They were great!

Animal Kingdom -
I liked this one better than Magic Kingdom. I loved seeing all of the animals and going on the safari ride. It was pretty fun. I really enjoy the bird show. I got to see a Bald Eagle and an Owl up close and that was GREAT! Even though I didn't get a very good picture of the Eagle.
All of the rides were fun. The Tarzan show was good to.

Epcot -
This one was ok. We didn't really spend much time there. We went there for the After Hours and did the main things. I will say that the new ride Soarin' was AWESOME!!!! It was in the top 5 of all of the parks. Austin REALLY enjoyed that ride to - ANOTHER SHOCK. I thought he would get sick, but he didn't. I guess that is a sure sign that he's growing up! Oh, we also really enjoyed the Crush show. Crush is a talking turtle that sounds like a surfer dude. It was funny and cute.

MGM Studios-
THIS IS MY FAVORITE - only because of the Tower of Terror and The Rockin' Roller Coaster! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! How awesome it was!!!! I really regret that we saved MGM for Monday because it was the best to me. Our plan was to get up Monday morning and spend all day there, but Austin's soccer team decided to win, so they had to play two games on Monday!!!! So we didn't get to spend but 4 hours at the park. That is not nearly enough time! Thankfully we had went the night before during the After Hours and watched the Indiana Jones Show and did a couple of more things. Monday we only got to do the Stunt Show and the best two rides. I want to go back and spend all day at MGM.

~ Funny story-
During the whole time at all of the parks, we didn't have to stand in line more than 10 minutes for any of the rides. If there was a line, we would Fast Pass it and go do something else.
Well at MGM it was late, so we couldn't fast pass anymore. We got to the Tower of Terror and waited in line for about 30-40 minutes. During that time, the doors would open and you could see the people way up high and hear them SCREAMING at the top of their lungs. I just knew that Austin would back out. I love scary rides and even I was a bit nervous. But again to my surprise he got on there like a champ! I could tell though that he didn't want to do it when we actually got on the elevator to be seated. He seemed to freak out a little, but he wouldn't say anything.
WELL, we start to go up and he freezes! His little knuckles were so white from holding on so tight! I, of course, was loving the ride every second, but when it was all over and I looked over at Austin, it broke my heart. I have NEVER seen him so scarred before. His lips were trembling and he had a tear in the corner of his eye! He was absolutely mortified! It took him a minute to gain his composure, but he got off of the ride and was wired up again. We boogied over the the Rockin' Roller Coaster and he was fired up ready to ride. We get in and he sees that car take off and that was all she wrote. He didn't want any part of it!!! I begged him to ride since it was going to be the last one, but he wouldn't do it. I kept telling him that the Tower was the worst one, but he didn't care. He took the chicken exit.

So as you have read, we had the best time.

Oh and they did actually play Soccer while we were there. I forgot all about that part!
They did a great job. There was some very tough competition, but the boys managed to place 5th in their division. They were all dissapointed though because they thought they should've done better, but there was a lot going on and it was hard to keep their minds on the game at all times! Plus, they had the College Cheerleading Competitions going on as well, so the boys were a little distracted by that as well!!!! Just image - 20 eleven and twelve year old boys seeing all of those cheerleaders walking around!!!!! Plus, some of the teams were at our resort and the boys would go outside to watch the teams pratice on the lawn! It was funny to watch the boys reactions when looking at the girls!

OK...that is a summary of our trip. I could just go on and on and on, but I'd be here all night!

Disney is a blast isn't it!?! I could live and work there just to be a part of the magic.
