Haircuts, Baby Geese, Motorcycles, Jesus and Baseball

As I posted already, I have been a very busy bee lately!

So I have decided to update you or bore you with the details of what has been going on in my life...

HAIR TODAY - GONE TOMORROW -

Austin FINALLY decided to get a haircut. He decided to let his hair grow out a while back and I was against it. Little did I know that I would like his hair grown out. Austin was doomed from birth with bad hair. Both Todd and I have very thin, fine hair. When Austin wanted to grow his hair out I was set against it because his hair is just like ours, so I figured it would be very stringy looking. Plus he hates to have his hair brushed and would rarely let me comb it nor would he bother with it himself! Well it actually looked nice when he would let me fix it. Anyway - since baseball season is starting he decided to go ahead and cut it. I almost cried like it was my own hair hitting the floor!!! But I know that he can grown it back out.

These are not the best photos, but you get the idea!
Oh Well, I think he is still adorable no matter what hairstyle he picks!

BABY GEESE
At work we have a grassy field behind one of the buildings and a family of Geese have been gracing us with their presence. I work in a different building and I don't get to see them. Well one day they showed up and a friend called me to come and take pictures. (I almost always have my camera). I asked to take a 15 minute break and sneak over and get a couple of shots...

Aren't they adorable!
Of course I was trying to get as close as I could for pictures, but the momma and daddy wasn't going to have that. I'd get to close and they would let me know it by hissing at me!

MOTORCYCLES
My father-in-law loves motorcycles and has always owned many of them. Usually he would buy old ones and restore them, but the past couple of years he has been buying new ones and riding with friends. I LOVE his most recent purchase. It is a beauty!

JESUS
I was invited to attend an Easter Program that a couple of my friends were going to be in. I had to go and I am soooo glad I did. It was of course about the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus and Austin and I went to watch and I believe it was one of the best programs I have ever watched. We sat on the front row so that I could take pictures and it was like a 3-D movie, very up close!!!! It really moved us! Austin was tearing up and leaned over and asked him if he was ok and he said yes, that he was just yawning, but I knew the truth. It was during the part that Jesus was draggin the cross and they were torturing him. I was fighting back the tears myself. When we got in the car he admitted to me that he was "almost" going to cry! I explained to him that it was perfectly normal to show emotions like that.

This is one of the pictures that I took and I think it's one of my favorites. I was very impressed by the performances this group did. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!!!

BASEBALL

We went to Greenville this past weekend for a scrimmage game to get the boys ready for their first tournament of the new spring season. They llooked ok, but you could tell that they still need practice. I'm hoping that they perk up for the tournament!
We will be traveling to New Albany this weekend for that first tourney. We play the first game on Friday night at 9:15. WISH US LUCK!!!!

Well that is a sum of what has been going on with me! Exciting stuff, huh?????
